I have readed the article from http://bangkokpost.com/opinion/opinion/186102/education-or-showbiz that talk about a child (15-years-old) drop out of school for join a reality. It is an interesting article. So, I want to shred this to everyone.
The autor said that she do not agree with the school is permit the student join the competition. TRUE Academy Fantasia is a reality show that find the winner to become a singer. Every year, requirement of age set at 18 years but in this season they reguire 15 years old up. The youths who were finalists have to stay on the house that set up for the show and they will be missing school for 12 weeks. The concern is not about age but the timing of the event beacuse they have to drop out. Finally, she said the company should be find the better ways to maintain business with no harm to education.
In my opinion, I do agree with the author. They should be organize this event during school closed.
