At Chiang Mai Zoo, it is first time endangered marine animals have been hatched in a mountainous area. The eggs are part of a turtle festival which is cooperation between Chiang Mai Zoo and the navy’s Sea Turtle Conservation Centre. The festival was arranged to encourage people to get involved in conservation efforts. The conservation centre will nourish the newly hatched turtles for five to six months before return them to their home. It takes a long time because they want to make sure that the turtles can survive. The male turtles will be hatched more than female. It is because of the cooler weather, and this is good for the conservation.
When I read this story, I do agree with the Officers. The sea turtles nearly become an endangered marine animals. They have the way to do, and we should participate with them. However, it is not only sea turtle, but I mean our friend animals.
